I know little about this brand but I’m very impressed by this small piano.It has a very powerful tone and good bass strings. It is a lovely piano with that lovely smooth new sound and feel. I’m not sure of the age, but it has been through my workshop in Timaru. I’m so impressed by this piano that i was tempted to keep it as my ‘hiring out’ piano. It is in tune and ready to go. This Hohner piano would be very good for a beginner. As a pianist I know how difficult it is to learn piano, that’s why I always say you need a good piano to encourage any chance of being able to learn well. Also I highly recommend seeing and trying pianos before you buy, though I have sold pianos to people who have been unable to see them. I’d like to see people taking less of a risk on trade me. I can deliver this piano round Dunedin free, however I can deliver this piano anywhere in New Zealand but will incur a fee depending on the distance.
